Embraer North America was established in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, more than 30 years ago and currently employs 800 people at locations including Ft. Lauderdale and Melbourne, FL, Nashville, TN, Mesa, AZ, Minneapolis, MN and Windsor Locks, CT. The company is actively investing in the U.S. It just opened a new executive jet production facility in Melbourne that is creating 200 jobs and it will open a new assembly plant in Jacksonville, FL, to supply the A-29 Super Tucano for the LAS contract, creating additional jobs here.
